Big Daddy Wilson brings delta blues and gospel to the Festival International de Hammamet

Born in North Carolina and now based in Europe, Wilson is one of 32 acts programmed across a festival that runs from 11 July to 13 August under the banner Endless Memories. His appearance represents the United States on a bill that stretches across 12 countries, including Mali, Cuba, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Turkey, Algeria, Morocco, Lebanon and Tunisia.
The festival's open-air amphitheatre, set within the grounds of the Centre Culturel International de Hammamet on Avenue des Nations Unies, has hosted the event since its founding in 1964. Start time and ticket price for the Big Daddy Wilson concert had not been published at the time of writing.
