Tunisian oud player and vocalist Dhafer Youssef performs Shiraz, his new live project, at the Amphithéâtre du Centre Culturel International de Hammamet on Sunday 12 July, as part of the 60th Festival International de Hammamet.
Shiraz draws together jazz, Arab music and Sufi traditions, weaving Youssef's oud playing and voice through a repertoire that the festival describes as placing memory, spirituality and contemporary musicality alongside one another.
He performs with a six-piece international band: Daniel García on piano, Mario Rom and Lilian Mille on trumpet, Swaéli Mbappé on bass, and Tao Ehrlich on drums.
The 60th edition of the festival runs from 11 July to 13 August 2026 at the open-air amphitheatre on Avenue des Nations Unies, Hammamet, and features 32 shows by artists from 12 countries.
Tickets are priced at 100 TND. No start time has been published; check the festival website for updates. Tickets are on sale now at festivaldehammamet.com.
