Emirates launches summer Dubai stopover package for Tunisian travellers, with free hotel nights and fleet upgrade

Emirates has launched a summer 2026 travel package for passengers flying to or through Dubai, combining a complimentary five-star hotel stay with a revamped fleet on its Tunis service — giving Tunisian travellers a new incentive to break their journey in the emirate rather than transit straight through.

The hotel offer

Emirates passengers travelling to or through Dubai this summer can get a complimentary stay at the five-star JW Marriott Marquis, along with access to hundreds of city discounts through My Emirates Pass.

Passengers booking return tickets in First Class or Business Class between 22 June and 12 July can receive a two-night stay at the JW Marriott Marquis, while those travelling in Premium Economy or Economy Class can receive a complimentary one-night stay. The offer applies to eligible return tickets to Dubai or with a Dubai stopover of more than 24 hours, for travel between 25 June and 30 September.

Located in Business Bay, the JW Marriott Marquis provides easy access to Downtown Dubai and the Burj Khalifa. The property is one of the city's largest five-star hotels, offering more than 1,600 rooms and suites, 12 restaurants and bars, a spa, fitness centre and outdoor swimming pool.

Adnan Kazim, Emirates' Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer, said the campaign was designed to showcase the breadth of what the city offers. "Whether visitors are seeking relaxation, adventure, entertainment or a combination of all three, Dubai is the ideal start to any summer vacation," Kazim said.

The Tunis fleet upgrade

Emirates operates its Airbus A350 six times weekly to Tunis on flights EK 747/748 — all days except Tuesday. The aircraft, which entered service on the route from 1 June 2025, brought with it a new cabin layout for Tunisian passengers.

The Emirates A350 features three spacious cabin classes, accommodating 312 passengers in 32 next-generation Business Class lie-flat seats in a 1-2-1 configuration and a mini-bar, 21 Premium Economy seats and 259 generously pitched Economy Class seats.

Emirates operates daily flights from Tunis to Dubai, connecting customers from Tunisia to over 138 global destinations via the hub. The A350 service runs six of those seven weekly departures.

Pass, platform and flexibility

My Emirates Pass is returning for summer 2026, offering more than 600 discounts across participating restaurants, spas, retailers and attractions. Travellers can access the offers by showing their physical or digital boarding pass along with a valid ID at participating venues.

Customers from select markets can also use Emirates' Dubai Experience platform to make the most of their stopover, creating tailored itineraries to suit all travellers, including 24- and 48-hour itineraries.

Dubai's summer calendar will also include Dubai Summer Surprises 2026, running from 2 July to 30 August, featuring concerts, cultural events, wellness activities and retail promotions across the city.

On booking flexibility, the airline said customers making bookings after 2 April 2026 will receive one complimentary date change across all cabin classes. Emirates also offers its Hold My Fare service, allowing passengers to secure ticket prices while finalising travel plans.
