Faraj Suleiman brings Palestinian piano to the 60th Festival de Hammamet

Suleiman's work draws on jazz, classical composition and Palestinian musical heritage. His recordings and live performances have toured across Europe and the Arab world, making him one of the most widely heard Palestinian instrumentalists of his generation.
He is the only Palestinian artist on a programme that runs 32 shows between 11 July and 13 August 2026, with artists drawn from 12 countries including Tunisia, Lebanon, Mali, Cuba, Portugal and Spain. His night falls between Joseph Attieh on 22 July and Marcel Khalifé on 24 July.
The open-air amphitheatre sits within the grounds of Dar Sébastien, the Centre Culturel International de Hammamet, Avenue des Nations Unies, Hammamet 8050. The festival runs under the slogan "Endless Memories" to mark its 60th anniversary, first held in 1964.
