Festival International de Bizerte opening
Tunisia's oldest open-air festival returns to the Amphithéâtre de Bizerte for its 43rd edition on Thursday 17 July, with Tunisian artist Aya Daghnouj headlining the opening night of a programme that runs through to 19 August.
The Festival International de Bizerte opens on Thursday 17 July 2026 at the Amphithéâtre de Bizerte, the open-air theatre overlooking the city's Old Port. The 43rd edition runs through to 19 August, with 17 shows spanning Tunisian variety, Arab music, dance and theatre.
The opening night will be headlined by Tunisian artist Aya Daghnouj. The wider line-up includes Algerian raï singer Cheb Mami, Lebanese artists Ramy Ayach and Adam, and Tunisian vocalist Saber Rebaï, who closes the festival. The programme also features a series of duo concerts pairing Tunisian and Arab artists on the same stage, among them Wael Jassar with Raouf Maher and Ehab Tawfik with Imène Chérif.
Doors open at 22:00. Tickets for the opening night are priced at 10.5 TND and are available through teskerti.tn.
The Festival International de Bizerte is one of Tunisia's oldest festivals, held at the open-air theatre beside the Old Port — a maritime setting that gives summer evenings here a character unlike any other Tunisian festival stage.
