Imen Cherif and Iheb Taoufik in joint concert at the 43rd Festival International de Bizerte
Tunisian singer Imen Cherif and Egyptian romantic-pop star Iheb Taoufik share the stage at the Amphithéâtre de Bizerte on Thursday 30 July, one of three cross-border pairings at this year's 43rd festival.
Tunisian singer Imen Cherif and Egyptian pop singer Iheb Taoufik will perform a joint concert at the Amphithéâtre de Bizerte on Thursday 30 July at 22:00, as part of the 43rd Festival International de Bizerte.
The evening is the second of three nights at this year's festival pairing a Tunisian artist with an Arab counterpart on a single bill. The format places Cherif and Taoufik between the Raouf Maher–Wael Jassar night on 28 July and the Mortadha Ftiti–Al Shami concert on 2 August. Taoufik, whose career spans three decades, is one of Egypt's best-known romantic singers.
All shows in the festival programme begin at 22:00. The festival runs from 17 July to 19 August at the open-air amphitheatre in Bizerte, with 17 performances covering music, circus, theatre and dance.
Tickets are priced at 26.5 TND and are available online at teskerti.tn.
