Italian ensemble OIDA takes the stage at the Amphithéâtre romain d'El Jem on Thursday 6 August at 21:00 with Cinecittà / Hollywood, a live orchestral concert drawing on celebrated soundtracks from both the Italian and American film traditions.

The programme spans the two great poles of twentieth-century cinema music: the Roman studios of Cinecittà, home to scores by composers including Ennio Morricone and Nino Rota, and the Hollywood tradition that runs alongside it. OIDA performs both in a full orchestral setting within the UNESCO-listed amphitheatre, whose stone bowl dates to the third century.

The 6 August concert is the first of two consecutive OIDA nights at El Jem in 2026. The group returns on Saturday 8 August for a separate programme devoted to Neapolitan song. The two appearances form part of the 39th International Festival of Symphonic Music of El Jem, which runs from 11 July to 15 August.

Ticket prices had not been announced at the time of publication. Tickets and further information are available at the festival's official site: festivaleljem.tn.
