The Buena Vista Orchestra, the ensemble carrying the legacy of the landmark Buena Vista Social Club recording project, performs at the Amphithéâtre du Centre Culturel International de Hammamet (CCIH) on Tuesday 28 July as part of the 60th Festival International de Hammamet.
The programme spans the three defining forms of classic Cuban popular music: son, bolero and mambo. The performance is Cuba's entry in a festival edition that brings artists from 12 countries — including Lebanon, Palestine, Mali, Portugal, Spain and Turkey — across 32 shows running from 11 July to 13 August 2026 under the theme Endless Memories.
The amphitheatre sits within Dar Sébastien, the Centre Culturel International de Hammamet on Avenue des Nations Unies, and stages performances in the open air against a backdrop that overlooks the Mediterranean.
Start time has not been confirmed in the official programme; all other festival concerts this season have begun in the evening.
