A hot and mostly clear Friday is expected across Tunisia, with temperatures reaching around 41C in Tozeur and strong easterly winds sweeping the south, while the north and coast enjoy a lighter breeze and near-cloudless skies through the afternoon.

Friday 26 June brings hot, largely sunny conditions across most of Tunisia, with the most intense heat concentrated in the interior and the south-west.
In Tunis, temperatures are forecast to rise to around 35C around midday before easing to around 30C by early evening and around 26C overnight. Skies should remain nearly cloudless throughout the day, with a light north-easterly breeze of up to around 17 km/h keeping conditions reasonably comfortable on the coast.
Along the east coast, Sousse could reach around 34C in the late morning, with temperatures holding steady through the afternoon before falling back to around 27C by evening. Sfax is expected to peak at around 32C in the early afternoon, with some morning cloud clearing to leave clear skies by the evening hours.
The hottest conditions will be felt across the interior and south. Kairouan could reach around 39C by mid-afternoon, with a small chance of an isolated shower of around 13 percent. Tozeur is forecast to be the hottest point in the country, with temperatures climbing to around 41C in the mid-to-late afternoon and remaining around 40C into early evening. Strong easterly winds of up to around 33 km/h are expected in Tozeur; those travelling in the south should allow for gusty and exposed driving conditions.
Winds elsewhere are light to moderate, blowing from the north-east in the north and from the east and south-east along the central and southern coast, with speeds generally below 20 km/h.
Sea conditions are forecast to remain slight along both the north coast and the Gulf of Hammamet, which should keep conditions calm and manageable for coastal activities.
