Weather forecast for Saturday 27 June: clear skies and building heat across the country
Tunisia is set for a dry, largely sunny Saturday with temperatures climbing sharply across the interior and south, where Tozeur could reach around 39C, while northern and coastal areas stay cooler under light north-easterly winds.

Saturday 27 June brings dry, sunny conditions across almost all of Tunisia, with heat building steadily from north to south through the day.
In Tunis, skies will be mostly clear after a lightly cloudy morning, with temperatures rising to around 32C around midday and through the early afternoon before easing to around 29C by early evening and around 26C by night. Light north-easterly winds will reach up to around 16 km/h.
Along the east coast, Sousse should peak at around 30C around midday, with north-easterly winds staying gentle at up to around 12 km/h. Sfax may see some cloud build through the afternoon and evening but temperatures will still reach around 33C in the late morning before falling gradually.
The hottest conditions will be across the interior and south. Kairouan could reach around 37C in the mid-afternoon, while Tozeur in the south-west may peak at around 39C around 16:00, with easterly winds gusting to around 26 km/h — the strongest in the country today. Those travelling in southern areas should account for the heat and wind during the late afternoon hours.
Winds elsewhere are north-easterly in the north and centre, light to moderate, and easterly along the southern coast, with Djerba seeing gentle conditions and a high of around 31C.
Sea conditions are forecast to remain slight along both the north coast and the Gulf of Hammamet, which should keep conditions calm and manageable for coastal activity throughout the day.
