Tunisia sees a settled, largely clear Sunday as temperatures climb to around 35C in the interior and reach 37C in the south-west, while the north coast stays cooler under a partial morning veil of cloud that clears through the afternoon.
Sunday 5 July brings warm, dry conditions across most of Tunisia, with sunshine dominating from midday onwards and no meaningful rain probability recorded anywhere in the country.
In Tunis, temperatures should rise to around 28C by mid-morning and reach around 32C in the early afternoon, easing to around 30C by early evening and around 26C after dark. Some cloud is expected in the morning, covering around a third of the sky, but skies should clear considerably through the afternoon. Light northerly winds of up to around 15 km/h will keep the capital comfortable.
Along the east coast, Sousse can expect an entirely clear day, with temperatures peaking at around 31C in the mid-afternoon under a north-easterly breeze of up to around 14 km/h. Sfax should reach around 33C around midday, with some partial cloud possible in the afternoon before the evening clears.
Inland, Kairouan could reach around 35C in the early afternoon, with some cloud building through the middle of the day before thinning by evening. The south-west sees the day's highest readings: Tozeur may reach around 37C by mid-afternoon, with a north-easterly wind gusting to around 30 km/h and a noticeable cloud presence through the morning and afternoon.
Winds are light to moderate across the north and centre, from the north and north-west, and stronger in the south-west around Tozeur where gusts should remain within around 30 km/h.
Sea conditions are forecast to remain slight across both the Gulf of Tunis and the Gulf of Hammamet, with wave heights expected to stay well under one metre, keeping conditions very manageable along the coast.
