Weather forecast for Thursday 25 June: sunshine giving way to afternoon cloud inland and on the coast

Thursday 25 June brings a mainly dry day across Tunisia, with clear morning skies giving way to significant afternoon cloud over the north, centre and east coast before clearing again by evening.

In Tunis, temperatures are forecast to rise to around 36C by midday before easing gradually to around 33C by early evening and around 29C by night. Cloud cover, minimal in the morning, is expected to build heavily through the afternoon before thinning after sunset. Easterly winds should remain light, reaching up to around 18 km/h.

Along the east coast, Sousse could reach around 33C in the late morning, with heavy afternoon cloud likely. Bizerte on the north coast may peak at around 33C under similar conditions, with a north-easterly breeze of up to around 19 km/h.

The hottest conditions are expected inland and in the south. Kairouan could reach around 38C in the mid-afternoon under heavy cloud, with south-easterly winds gusting to around 23 km/h. Tozeur in the south-west may approach around 39C by mid-afternoon, with skies remaining largely clear and easterly winds of up to around 21 km/h.

Rain probability is negligible across all regions for Thursday.

Sea conditions are forecast to remain slight along both the north coast and the Gulf of Hammamet, with wave heights well under a metre, keeping conditions calm for coastal activity.
