In Tunis, temperatures should climb from around 29C at mid-morning to a peak of around 34C by mid-afternoon, easing back to around 31C by early evening and around 27C by night. Cloud cover stays partial through the day, with north-westerly winds reaching up to around 21 km/h.
Along the coast, Sousse can expect a clear morning before cloud builds through the afternoon, with temperatures peaking at around 33C. A slight chance of showers develops by evening, though the probability remains low. Winds there are light, from the east, at up to around 12 km/h.
Inland, Kairouan could reach around 37C by mid-afternoon under a mix of sun and thickening cloud, with a rain probability of around 20 percent through the afternoon and evening. Tozeur in the south-west is forecast to be the hottest point in the country, with temperatures potentially reaching around 38C by mid-afternoon under mostly clear skies.
Sfax sees the heaviest cloud cover of the day, with overcast conditions expected through much of the afternoon and a rain probability of around 15 percent; drivers should watch for sudden showers if conditions develop. Bizerte and the north-west see partial cloud and north-westerly winds gusting to around 30 km/h.
Sea conditions are forecast to remain slight across both the Gulf of Tunis and the Gulf of Hammamet, with wave heights well under one metre, which should keep conditions generally manageable along the coast.
